The Archivo de la Memoria Trans was founded in Argentina in 2012 by the activist María Belén Correa, to preserve the history of trans people there from disappearing. We’re proud to carry four of their books. Archivo de la Memoria Trans collects photographs, diaries, and ephemera from women who were organizing and fewer than 100 of them are still alive after the age of 55. Belén, María Belén, María Belén tells Correa’s own story from the '80s and 90s. Fanzine Fondo Teté is built from the archive of Ornella Olivia Vega, aka Teté. Carne de cañón gathers first-person accounts of the violence that was done to trans people and their resistance.
