Transcribed from a lecture delivered at MoMA PS1 during the Printed Matter Art Book Fair NY (2025), Luïza Luz extends the research of their book Beneath the Surface: Deep Listening, Buried Narratives, and Embodied Resistance (Archive Books, we make it, 2024) into spoken form.

Moving through deep listening, language, and education, Luïza Luz outlines a political methodology of embodiment -- where attuning to the self, the Planet, and the other is an act of defiance that unearths the potential for the Planetary transition.
